Reports and dashboards

A dashboard that shows how the business is doing without asking anyone to put together a report. A few numbers, the ones that help you decide.

Does any of this sound familiar?

  • To know how the month is going, you have to ask for a report and wait.
  • Each team has its own numbers and they do not match.
  • Reports are built by hand in a spreadsheet and take hours.
  • You have plenty of data, but you do not know which numbers to look at.

How we solve it

Before building any charts, we ask what decisions you make and which number you are missing to make them better. That decides what gets shown.

Then we check where the data comes from and whether it can be trusted. If the source needs cleaning, that comes first, because a nice dashboard with bad data is worse than none.

What it can include

  • Sales by period, product, customer or salesperson.
  • Stock, turnover and products that do not move.
  • Customer debt and collections for the period.
  • Comparison against the previous month or year.
  • Reports ready to print or send by email.
  • Access by role: each person sees what applies to them.

Who it makes sense for

Owners and managers who now decide by gut feeling or with reports that arrive late, and who want to see the state of the business at a glance.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a system already in place to get reports?

The data has to live somewhere, even in tidy spreadsheets. If it is messy, we tidy it first. That is often the most important part of the job.

Do they update by themselves?

Yes, once they are connected to the source of the data (your system, a database or shared spreadsheets). They refresh whenever you open them or on the schedule we agree on.

How many indicators are shown?

As few as possible. A dashboard with fifty numbers does not get read. Together we choose the few that change your decisions.

Is this happening to you?

Tell us how you work today and we will see together what makes sense. The first conversation does not commit you to anything.
